Zachary

They laid Zachary's headstone this week. We also got the results of the genetic tests. He was perfectly normal which is good in the sense that we don't have increased chances of chromosome abnormalities next time. I tested positive for CMV which is probably the reason he died. There were abnormalities in the cord which the doctor thinks was caused by the infection. We can't be 100% because we were unable to do an autopsy but most likely it was the cause. The good thing is we know that can't happen again. Again we want to thank all of you for you thoughts and prayers it really has meant alot to us.

Last Tee-ball games

Tee-ball has finally ended - today was the last games. Both boys did very well. Jackson is stopping balls and throwing good. Miles is hitting pitches balls and hit a triple today. It was a fun season. Both boys really improved which will make spring more fun!

Daddy and Jackson Rodeo

Jackson's preschool had another Daddy and Me rodeo this year! Jackson loves having his dad go to school with him and had lots of fun playing the games! Here are the answers to his Dad questions -
My dad is special because he loves me.
My dad's favorite thing to eat is apples. (Don't think I've ever scene him eat one!)
My dad is as handsome as me!
I like to play baseball with my dad!

Pulling teeth

Within a week Miles lost four teeth. He lost his two top middle teeth and two on the bottom next to his big ones. He wanted to try and have David put the dental floss and shut the door unfortunately we could never get it to work so mom just grabbed some tissue and twisted - popped right out! As you can see he is going to need braces!

State Fair

We made our annual trip to the state fair. It was fun to have David's parents with us. It is always fun especially when you get free, close parking and free entrance. Makes buying $4 corndogs not so bad. It was a really hot day! We went to the petting zoo, rode a couple of rides, ate, and saw some bull riding and called it a day.

Zachary Enoch Hinckley

We had a small graveside service for Zachary on October 5, 2008. David did a wonderful job bearing his testimony and then dedicating Zachary's grave. It brought a peaceful closure to losing Zachary. Even though the loss has been painful and heartbreaking, we feel a little closer to heaven. We truely have felt the Savior's love during this time and are so grateful for the Gospel. We are also thankful for all those who have sent notes, flowers etc. and for your love, prayers and support. We feel grateful to have such kind, loving family and friends.
